Pat, I have one Civil War pension paper , which shows that he was an invalid, after having attained the rank of Captain with the following information: Benjamin Mosher Enlistment Date: 6 Jun 1861 Enlistment Place: Troy, New York Side Served: Union State Served: New York Service Record: Enlisted as a Captain on 6 June 1861 at the age of 46. Enlisted in Company G, 22nd Infantry Regiment New York on 6 Jun 1861. Resigned Company G, 22nd Infantry Regiment New York on 28 Feb 1862.
