"KENDALL AND PRATT
At this same time [1886], on November 9, L.R. Pratt was a stonemason in Newport, reporting that the season of 1886 was the best one for his work in twenty-two years, both in the amount of work and favorable weather in which to do it."
If your relative was a livery man, I have more information on him from this book.
In the index it states that Pratt, Lorenzo R.'s information is on page 113.
