I am interested in any information on the Henry Little family in Brandon, Rutland Co., VT, and later in Chelsea, Orange Co., VT. I have found the following information from census records:
1860 Census, Brandon, Rutland Co., VT
Little, Henry, age 36, day laborer
---, Sarah, age 39
---, Alvah, age 12

1870 Census, Brandon, Rutland Co., VT
Little, Henry, age 46, born in Canada
---, Sarah, age 50
---, Alva J., age 20
---, Sabra, age 19
---, Minerva, age 15
---, Lizzie, age 10
---, Sarah, age 7
From Sarah's age (7), we can conclude that the Sarah listed in the 1860 Census had passed away before 1863.
Sabra married on 3 Oct 1870, in Brandon, Rutland Co., VT, to Frank Cross. In the 1880 Census, she was living with her husband, then 32; she was 29 and had three children: Henry, age 7; Libbie [Elizabeth], age 4, and Carrie [Catherine] age 2. Elizabeth and Catherine were actually twins, but the difference in their ages on the census cannot be explained.

This Henry Little is not listed on the 1900 Census, so we can conclude that he passed away between 1880 and 1900. Alvah would move to Williamstown, Orange Co., VT, by 1900, then to Thetford, Orange Co., in 1910, then back to Chelsea in 1920.
