Lovewells from Orange County, VT

I was wondering if anyone has any records or information etc. concerning the Lovewell family who settled in the Newbury and Corinth areas. I understand from War Pension files and Revolutionary War records that there were a number buried in Newbury and Corinth as well (the Ox-bow cemetery being one). The names of particular interest are John, Nehemiah,Zaccheus (Zacheus)and William.

Zaccheus Lovewell married Hepsibah Taplin (1st) and had a son “William” born c 1790 who was in the War of 1812 and settled in Lower Canada (Quebec Eastern Townships) and married Mary Hanson, daughter of Micajah Hanson, of NH. I am looking for concrete proof that my relative William is related to Zaccheus. Any help anyone can offer about William or any Lovewells in these areas would be greatly appreciated.

K.M. Smith
