Thank you so much for your help with this. You indicated you had found Martin with a Lucinda age 71, she was his wife and mother of his children. Martin was Adam B. Hart's brother. You also mentioned Nancy and Joseph Harper...Nancy was Martin's daughter so she actually was related to Martin. The Lucy Champlin and Benjamin Hart have to be from a related family, but not the line I am directly searching. I am most intensely looking for Constant Hart b. July 1728. A person named Brent Reusch has posted so much very badly researched info about Constant that it is almost impossible to untangle! Constant Hart married Sarah Russell and had 3 sons; Josiah b. Aug 18 1748; JOHN b. April 23, 1750; and a Benjamin who died the same day born March 4, 1752...Sarah died a week later. Sorry I digressed, MY intense interest is in Constant. His father is reputed to be a Nathaniel Hart, and they were from Ipswich, MA. But none of the records substantiate this clearly. The Brent person declares Constant's mother to be Elizabeth Perkins...records show an INTENTION only and in 1731...years AFTER Constant's birth. There is a similarly named line in Rhode Island...but they did NOT go to Vermont and New Hampshire. The Rhode Island line is possibly a set of cousins, but OUR particular branch came from the New Hampshire group [John Hart and Submit Farnsworth]. Well, I shall take your wonderful help and go see what I can determine about the Lucy Champlin info!!! Thanks again so much, and the very best of New Year's! Most sincerely, Jan Hart Notify Administrator about this message?
