Anna Eliza (Gould) Newell...husband's name?

I am trying to learn the name of the husband of Anna/Ann E. (Gould) Newell, who appears as a widow on the 1870 and 1880 censuses of Weathersfield, Windsor, VT with two daughters, Mary J. [b. c1864] and Jessie M. [b. c1866].

One of the daughters had apparently died by the time of the 1900 census, as Anna E. is shown as being the mother of two, but only one still living.

Obviously the husband must have died between 1866 and 1870. There are several Newell families shown in Weathersfield on the censuses. Which one did the husband belong to?

I would appreciate any information available about this family. Thanks so much.
