Bethia Cook Bernard married John Haskell after her husband John Bernard died in 1798. Ashael was nine at the time, and he was living in Tolland CT. Mary Dean/e's parents were John Dean d 1812 Weathersfield, Bethia Cooke d 1813 Weathersfield. The 1810 Census of Weathersfield shows John Haskell and John Dean/e next to each other. My theory is this is how Ashael Bernard and Mary Dean/e met. They were married 31 Aug 1815 in Vermont and shortly therafter moved to Genesee County NY. Can anyone help prove I am right. When did Bethia Cook (Bernard) Haskell die?
