The following are a list of names from Jennie Bates Merrill's Birthday book started 1886.
There are birthdays starting at 1800 and going to 1909. Most are from Hartland, Vermont.
We have photographed each signature in the book. Some are in the person's own handwriting
others are my ggrandmother's. We would be happy to share these photos with the
families listed. There are several Bates, Sturtevant, Harlow, Merrill, MacArthur and Short
names. Most have one or two. There are over 150 names, so listing the first names
would take up too much space. We can e-mail the photo of the name with
the birthday and year to those interested. This is another way to document your family history.
The book is getting very fragile, so we wanted to share these names while
we still can.
