Hi Sherry, have you heard about Washington Adoption Reunion Movement? WARM is a non-profit organization serving the needs of adult adoptees and their birth families. Their web site http://www.warmsearch.org/ explains what they do and how the process works. You can always check them out with the Attorney General before you send them any money.
