Hi, I found this. And there is a Elmer W. McEwen listed in an online phone book in Washington State. But you probably know that...<smile>. Hope this helps a little. I couldn't find them in the 1920 census. And this site might prove beneficial if you find out more information.

Could you have Edna's birth year wrong? I think this is her but I'm no expert. This is from the Social Security Death Index List. Seems to fit with Roy's place of death and the year she died.
