Here is the information that I have.
James Alfred Rogers born March 6, 1873, died 1921. Born in Texas and died in Steep Rock, Manitoba, Canada.
James Alfred left Australia Rogers a widow. He was buried in Steep Rock, Manitoba Canada on Mining property. Australia Rogers moved back to Oklahoma and passed away February 27, 1974. Australia was born on December 25, 1878.Her mother had a Choctaw lineage, her maiden name was Berryman.
I have a clue that Grandpa Ollie may have been some Irish, from his father, but it is heresay. Nothing else from the past for James Alfred Rogers other than h is parents names: Clara Wells and John Oliver Rogers
Ollie Robert Rogers was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on June 25, 1900. His mother was Australia Berryman and father James Alfred Rogers. I have the line of Australia Berryman. Ollie Robert Rogers died in Vancouver, WA on December 21, 1992. I am the eldest of 10 of his grandchildren, who all had children and grandchildren. . Helen was 16 when she married Ollie. She was from the Cloverdale/Nashwauck, Minnesota area. Helen Rogers was born July 19, 1910. Her parents were Andrew and Elizabeth Paakkonen of Finnish decent. Helen and Ollie Rogers had two sons:
James Wallace Rogers Born in Minnesota, September 6, 1930, deceased in Vancouver, Washington September 30, 1988.
Robert Ollie Rogers born June 27, 1933 deceased: Portland, Oregon January 11, 1996.
A couple of the children of James and Australia were born in Manitoba Canada, and some in Oklahoma.
