We are looking for any information on Hilder Y. Anderson, at one time a railroad contractor for Union Pacific and other railroads, who lived in Tacoma, Kittitas, and Spokane in the
1880s-1890s. We lose Hilder Anderson from about 1893 forward, though his wife, Mary, and children, Harry Young and Roy Maxwell, moved to British Columbia in 1895. By1918 they were back in Spokane and Walla Walla, respectively. Hilder was born in Sweden in 1848, and had two Anderson brothers in Washington at least. They were Axel L. Anderson of Goldendale, and Oscar Reinhold Anderson, who lived his last few years with Axel, dyig in 1917. We cannot find Hilder in WA death records so far. We would so appreciate any guidance or assistance, and any additional facts about him. We have looked in surrounding states' death records, to no avail so far. Jeanne Rollberg
