Does anyone have information regarding George Washington McFry of Abbeville, South Carolina and his line; including his father George from Pennsylvania. This family's surname was originally Fry/Frye. George was b 27 Dec 1802 d 2 mar 1880 Jefferson, Missouri. I'm unable to find his father from Pennsylvania. George Washing McFry's son, Andrew John b 1827 d. 21 Oct 1924, Sparta, Oklahoma gggg grandfather. My gg grandfather was William Wallace McFry b 5 Feb 1860 d 2 Feb 1943. He was the 4 son of Andrew John. He also changed his name from McFry to Malcom and for some time was hard to track until I had found that he'd changed his name in 1888 in Quitman, Nodaway, Nebraska after his first wife's death.
If any one has information on this line, I'd deeply appreciate it. I'll share whatever I have.
