The 1875 Minnesota Territorial Censuses for Round Grove, Minnesota under the name Forcies. The 1880 US Census for Grove Lake, Pope, MN. under the name Farcier.
Damase Forcier went by several different names until he finally settled on Thomas such as Damase, Dennis, and Demas. His wife was sometimes Mary or Melvina once she was even Rondan(Rondau).
Here are their children that I have documented:
1.Fredelia D. born 1867 in Vermont. She married George Ivancich in 1896 in Washington.
2.Mary Melvina/Mary Lavina born 1869 in Vermont. She married Joseph DeChaine in Brainerd, MN on July 4, 1886.
3.Demas/Damase born 1871 in Minnesota. He married Belle Grondin in Mn.
4.Mary "Ethel" born 1875 in Minnesota. She married William Partridge in Seattle.
5.Andrew Anthony born 1877 in Minnesota. He married Agnes Augusta Huse in Seattle.
6.Mary "Angeline" born 1880 in Minnesota. She married Frank Benjamin Rigby.
7.John Charles Forcier born 1881 in Minnesota. He married Josephine Debrieges.
8.Joseph "Albert" Forcier born 1887 in Minnesota. He married Martha Washington Ramm before 1911.
9.Mary Ann Forcier born 1889 in Minnesota. She married John Arthur Shaffer.
10.Mary Elizabeth "Bessie" born 1892 in Seattle, Washington. She married Jacob Delford McAllister.
Mary Melvina and Demas stayed behind in Minnesota while the rest of the family moved on to Washington state. I have info on descendants for each child in this family as well as the parents and siblings of Thomas Forcier.
