Additional info on the family is on the 1885 Minnesota Territorial and State Censuses for Brainerd, Crow Wing, Minnesota under Dennis Forcier. Much of the info is incorrect and misppelled but this is the correct family. The DeChaine family that Mary Melvina married into was living next door at that time. She married Joseph DeChaine a year later.
