Patricia, it's probably not the same family but my mother's maiden name was Stewart-Moore and there are still many many of the family around, mostly in N Ireland where the family began when a Miss Moore (Irish) married a Mr Stewart from Scotland. Quite a few here in Aus where I live and also a few in the US, I know. Let me know if you think there's any connection.
