Hi there Patricia, not muvch news really, I'm afraid, my uncle only knows about the Harry Stewart-Moore who emigrated to Canada in around 1860 and joined the Mounties and fought in an Indian uprising. His grand-daughters - possibly gt grand-daughters, are called Victoria Joy & Gloria and Victoria just e-mailed me yesterday to say she hopes to come and stay with us in June so I will hopefully get more info about her Canadian forebears then. I dont think I've ever heard of a Thomas S-M in the family, they mostly seem to be called James and Harry! Will certainly let you know if I find out anything of interest. I've certainly often heard members of the family talk about the Robert Bruce connection. But the first Stewart-Moore was not until about 1770 says my uncle, when this Mr Stewart from Scotland married the Miss Moore who lived in N Ireland.
Good luck with your research!
