I know my great Aunt Opal Johnson worked with the Long Beach WA genealogy group before her death. I am looking for Catherine B Johnson who sent some information and mentioned a "packet of things" left by Opal. I was viviting and doing genealogy with Donna Lloyd, grand daughter of William Guy Bates and she mentioned the packet. I am going to be in Long Beach this summer and would like to contact Catherine B Johnson and talk to her about the search for information and see what Opal had found in her last trip through the US searching out family members. please contact me at my email and write genealogy on the subject line as much of my stuff is screened so the spam is kept down.
