Well, if you aren't sick of me yet, I have a more complete version of death info from the Idaho State Death index.
Certif #130271, MAINES, Dudley Burt, born 10 March 1882, died, Priest River, Bonner County, on 29 Aug 1942.
The following may likely have been an obit for his father, since a son, Dudley B. was listed and the obit is from Wisconsin.

Maines, Dudley B. (30 MAY 1840 – 8 MAY 1915)
After a lingering illness Mr. Dudley Baxter Maines passed away Saturday, May 8th, at 4 p.m. at his home on 13th St. North Side. His life hung by a thread for many weary weeks, and he must have welcomed the release from his excruciating suffering when it came. His wife and daughters lavished upon him every loving care and devotion to try and alleviate the suffering, and many times it seemed to them that they had reached the limit of their endurance. Dudley Baxter Maines was born at Quebec, Canada May 30th, 1840. In 1865 he moved to Ohio and then came to Clark County May 23, 1867. Here he entered into partnership with J.L. Gates Co. in the lumbering industry. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Charlotte Ives in 1876, and to them were born five children, twin daughters, Eleanor and Delphine; Dudley B., Mrs. Bunker and Francis, who survive him. Mr. Maines owned and resided upon the farm known as the McIntosh farm for 21 years, and was engaged in the mercantile business with John H. Thayer as partner, having a store in the building now occupied by Commercial State Bank. W.J. Marsh clerked for the firm and in 1887 he and his brother Lute bought them out. Thirteen years ago he sold the farm and went to Ladysmith to reside, where he had a nice home, and remained ten years, but his health failing, he longed to come back to Neillsville to spend his declining years among old time friends; so three years ago he and his family returned and purchased a home on the North Side. He was a member of the K. of P. years ago at Neillsville and later at Ladysmith, up to the time of his death. The funeral was held Tuesday morning, May 11th, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Rev. Davis of Marshfield officiating.
