The 1900 Census DID have a Benton M. Thompson born August 1873 in Illinois, son of Ben Thompson, born Jan 1838 in Norway and Martha Thompson born Jan 1848 in Illinois. Martha was mother of 4, 3 living. In this census was a sister Carri, bornn Jan 1872 in Illinois.
