I'm researching the family of James (1808-1881) and Louisa Stevens Thompson (1811-1897). They originated from Westbrook and Augusta, Maine then moved first to Minnesota, followed by Hawaii and finally to Blaine, Washington. Their children are: Emma Louise (m Charles Morrill), James W. (m Elizabeth), Irene, Ellen Appleton, George H. (m Lena Everett), Lyman Sinclair (m Rachael Smith & Grace Kimball), Jennie Laura (m Dr. Wm. A. King), Caroline, William, Frank (m Jennie McDonald), Frederick Archibald "Archie", and Jessie Murdock (m Susan Little Thompson).
Ellen aka Nell was a portrait painter by trade. Those residing in Blaine were: Louisa Thompson, William & Jennie King, Ellen "Nell" Thompson, Frederick "Archie" Thompson, and James W. Thompson. Please contact me if you too are interested in this family. Thanks!
