I have a Helge Andreas WAAGE who married Severina (Sarah) Elizabeth SIMONSON. Andrew, as he was know in the US, immigrated in 1887. I have a copy of his "Petition for Naturalization". My research of the Norwegian Census online shows Hadle Andrais KNUDSEN and Marthe JOHANNESDATTER to be his parents.
Andrew was born in Avaldsnaes, Rogland, Norway on 2 Feb 1873 (also known as Koppervik). He and his wife had 11 children.
Is this the same family? I'd be glad to share inforamtion!
