Wow, that is very interesting that your Father lives in the same area of our ancestors from years back. Sounds like he could have access to lots of local info.
Sorry for the confusion...you are right there are eight children's names listed. Emily and William died very young. Yes, their last name was Wabel. I overlooked keying the last name.
Here is the married names and husbands of the girl children
Sarah m: 5/25/1873, Theo Lash
Clarissa (Clara) m1: 1/28/1877, Albert Law
m2: 10/10/1895, Charles A. Lash
Mary Alice m: 12/24/1885, George W. Butcher.
Andrew Jackson family is in my direct family line. I have a little information on Conrad and Mary Ann Meyers, but I would love to know more about their children.
I have litte information on Jeremiah Wabel:
Jeremiah, b: abt 1821, married Eliza D. ?. They had 5 children: Josiah Wabel b: abt 1844; Sarah J Wabel b: abt 1846; Mary M Wabel b: 4/1850; Catherine Wabel b: abt 1853 and Lucius W. Wabel b: 1/1857.
Maybe we could exchange information by email.....
