I also have Sampson Carter Listed as Sarahs parents. Anthony Terry Carter would be Sampsons father.....who married Sara Durden on July 14 1825 in Walton County Ga.
Anthony's Parents are HArtwell Carter and Sally Colquitt Carter married Sept 20 1794
Sampson is buried in the Barfield Cemetery in Washington Co. Fl.along with his wife Amanda and parents Anthony T. and Sara Durden Carter.
Do you know if there is a will for John and Sarah ? I need documented proof of My John b. 1903 being their son.
If you have more info to share I would love to see it.
