In the Scottish-Irish Chronicles of Augusta County, Virginia there is mention of Joseph Wachub (Vachob) who had a daughter that married William Elliott in Feb 1773 in the home of Alexander Hamilton. Does anyone connect to this family? It is believed by some that this daughter was Rebecca and that she and William left Augusta Co and went to Kentucky...........Thanks.
