I saw these postings and have been helping Donnis on the Davis line. I have been working on Hugh Cravey Davis, Thomas Allen Davis & John F. Davis Sr. These are believed to be brothers. At least Hugh and Thomas are confirmed. I would be interested in talking to you direct. There is a reunion of these Davis lines in Oct. and no one from Hugh's side has been found to attend. Maybe you might be interested. Hugh was in Dale County, Ala. in 1840 and then moved to Jackson and on to Washington co. His land in Dale was bought out by his brother Thomas Allen Davis.
