Hi Andy
I have just brough four more Wachon, including myself, over to Canada from the UK. My grandparents were Polish, and they were not allowed to return to Poland after world war 2. They had the choice of Canada, or the UK, and chose the UK at the time. It would be interesting to find out more about the name, but unfortunately I don't know much more. There are several in Poland, but I also hear that it is a French name, and I have had this confirmed by Sandrine to. Would be great to get more info and go back further in time with this. Maybe we are connected some way back........ who knows?
