To anyone researching WACHTEL; An ancient, German-American Cemetery, in the Conococheague Broadfording area, in Washington Co, MD, is part of the property purchased by the county for a LANDFILL. It will open in 20 months. The bodies, (50-80)of our ancestors, (not theirs), will be moved to the west end of the landfill. If you have a problem with this, please email Scott Butki or me.
