Joseph Van Haelst was born 19 mar 1893 in Little Falls, Passaic, NJ to Charles Van Haelst and Julia DeHooge. He died on 15 Mar 1969 at West Essex General Hospital in Livingston, NJ and is buried in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Bergen, NJ. He was a self employed carpenter.
He married Margaret Wachtler.
The couple lived a 9 Clifton Place in Fairfield.
Their daughter, Eleanor, married Raymond Bedley. The couple lived in Fairfield, Essex, NJ in 1969 and had 2 children.
