Greetings,

I am also a descendent of John George Wack via his son the Rev. Caspar Wack. Caspar was a well known preacher in the 'German Valley' of Morris County, NJ during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. I'd be happy to share what I know about the family. I'm especially interested in finding out more about a grand daughter of Caspar. Mary Ann Wack, daughter of Andrew Wack and Magdalena Dufford, was married to a 'William Weyer' and 'went west' according to Chamber's 'Early Germans of NJ'. I suspect they are the parents of my Emma Weir/Wire who was married to Benjamin Apgar (a second marriage for both) in 1859. I have a date of birth for a 'Mary Wach', spouse of a 'William Wier' from sources in Ohio. Confirmation of her birthdate from NJ sources would prove the connection with Emma.

Regards,

Rick Novak
