It is interesting to note we have a relative of similar name and location. I have a Karl Wacker in my family who is born in Fruedenthal South Russia in 1855, he married a Barbara Neuhart and they lived in the Dakota's. Our branch has a written compilation of our Wacker family history. Much of the Wacker family is now settled in the Southwestern part of the US. Our Karl Wacker also had a son Karl, whose son Andrew was my grandfather. Karlwho immigrated to this country was the son of Johann Nikalaus Wacker and Katharina Harsch. I would imagine that somewhere in time our families may be related, perhaps back in Russia.
