I am trying to put some family history together for John C. Wacker (b. Nov 1841 in Russia). He married Barbara. I know of two children, Fredrick J. Wacker (b. Apr 1881 in Russia) and Emma Wacker (b. Sep 1885 in Russia). These four immigrated to USA in 1889. I find them in a 1900 census in Walworth County, South Dakota. Fredrick married Alvina and in 1930 were in Wishek, North Dakota. There is a Wacker twp directly south of Wishek, ND in McPherson SD and wonder if the naming of that twp has anything to do with the Wacker family. Also would like to gain ancestors for John. Fredrick's son, Erwin married my Aunt Clara Gall in 1930.
