The earliest Wacker I've been able to find was a John D. b. bet 1845-1850 in Germany; maybe married to a Henrietta. Two sons, so far, Louis Julius b. abt 1869 and John Conrad b. 1870.
Louis m. Rose Augustine Hofheins b. 1882. Three children;

Rose is the daughter of George Louis b. 1852 and Louisa Christina Ernst b. 1851.
George served in the CSA during the Civil War in Cpt. Arrington's Group out of Mobile. Sibs may be Frank, Mary and Sara. Children of George and Louisa are;

Mary Ann 1880
George L. 1885
Sophia Ida 1887
Maggie 1888
Lee J. 1891
Lillie F. 1894
and Rose.
