I am looking for the parents of Charles Marshall Waddill, born Oct. 31, 1841, died May 12, 1919 buried at "Cedar View" Halifax Co. Va. he married Harriett Lavinia Wilson, born Jan. 29, 1847, died Nov. 6, 1937, Married May 18, 1868, Halifax Co. Va. This would be my gg grandfather. I think he was from New Kent Co. and fired destoryed all their records. I "think" he "read" law. There are some Waddills listed in the records of the Danville Library but I do not know enought to know if these are his brothers and sister, appreciate any information;;Kitty Shortt
