According to the 1860 Wilkes County, NC census My great- great grandmother Rachel Waddell was 6 years old at that time. She has a sister, Elizabeth, listed age 8, and her mother Ruth age 35. I believe Ruth's maiden name was Richardson. I believe she was the second wife of Levi Abraham Waddell born about 1796, Levi's first wife was Rachel Wiles. She is listed as age 30 in the Wilkes County 1850 census.
Does anyone know the name of Ruth's parents?
Does anyone know about Rachel's sister Elizabeth?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
