There is a Charles AND a Marshall in this will. Might give you a jumping-off point:
Charles Waddell's will left 1/3 of his land and slaves to son Pleasant, land and slaves to son Branch, land and slaves to son Albert. (under age). Other heirs: daughter Nancy, wife of Coleman Williams; son Henry, son Noel; daughter Jane and her daughter Elizabeth; daughter Bitsy, wife of Henry Richardson; daughter Sally, wife of Beverly Seamore; sons Marshall and Charles. Mentions Josiah Richardson and heirs of Richard Richardson (who appears to have been married to one of Charles' daughters).
Pleasant filed a lawsuit against Branch Waddell, Coleman Williams and wife Nancy and others regarding this estate.

It was probated in 1834 in Halifax County, VA.

I have not seen the original and don't know where I found this abstract! Hope it helps.
