Caroline Deborah was the daughter of Eleanor Montgomery and Thomas Waddill. Thomas was the son of Edmund Waddill and Lucy Birdsong, and I believe that Eleanor was the daughter of ..... Caroline was born cira 1807 and married Captain Joshua Allen 21 January 1825. (The marriage information is from the Raleigh newspaper.) Joshua's will was written in 1855 and mentions his wife Caroline. After his death, I believe that she married a Tomlinson, but I don't seem to have supporting evidence of this marriage.

The Allens had fourteen children. I only have information on Thoma W. Allen who married Patty Hubbard and lived in Anson county, NC in 1870.

Have lots of Waddill and Birdsong information. Sara
