Hi! I am searching for the line of Sims that lived in Woodruff,S.C.,Spartanburg,S.C., and Enoree S.C. These are the names and birth years that I took off of the
1900 census:

Texana Waddell Sims b.1861(mother)
Mary E. Sims b. 1884
Charlie Sims b. 1883
Emma Sims b. 1885
William b.1887
Sanford Thomas b.1896
Eva b.1897

on 1920 census
Claude H. b.1902

1900 they were all living in Woodruff.

Mary E. put on the 1920 census that her birth place was North Carolina.

Their father was Lewis Franklin Sims.

I have found a Lewis Franklin Sims but he was not married to Texanna Waddell. Texanna was named "Anna" only on Sanfords application for Social Security.

I would like to hear from anyone who knows they are related to the Waddells and Sims from Woodruff,S.C.

Sanford married a woman named Mattie and lived in Spartanburg in 1920. They did not have any children in 1920 but I know that they children. Their children
were: Katherine,Earl,Ray,Sanford T.(Mac), and Callie or maybe the name is Hallie.

Mary E. Sims had these children..all in Woodruff..birth years give or take a year:

Helen b. 1900 m. Sam Moore
Lewis b. 1903 m. Mary ??
Mae Belle b.1905 m. Quay Corn
Clary B.(male) b.1908 called,"Did". Never married.
Cora b.1907 m. Luke Tucker
Ola b. 1911 m. Paul Atkinson Hester

I have the names of Marys childrens children but most are still alive so I will not post them.

Do any of these names mean anything to anyone? I need some leads. Thanks,
Karen
