Alan,
After Digging thru my records I came up with some information that may be of use. On the other hand it may be the kind of things that drive family history researchers nuts!
The first item is that my great-grandfather had a sister named Laura Belle Waddell! However, she was born 5/5/1865 in Kentucky and died 5/18/1889 or 1890 also in Kentucky. She married someone named Sparks and is buried in the Sparks family cemetary in Ibex, Elliott Cty, KY.
The second item may be of more use to you. I believe that a branch of the Waddell family moved from Kentucky to south-central Ohio in the mid to late 1800's. I discovered a web site run by an Arthur Waddell in Florida. I think he is related to me but you have to go back 4 or 5 generations to find the link. Anyway his grandfather was from Ohio.
