Hi Alan:

William Bradford Waddell was one of the founders of the Pony Express. His branch came from the Maryland Waddells, while Charles, Arthur and I come from the Virginia/North Carolina Waddells. If your Laura is of that branch, you should need to search under William Bradford Waddell. She may have been his daughter or granddaughter.
