Hi James,
I have some information regarding James Oliver WADDELL born August 11, 1822. He died March 18, 1894. He is buried in Columbus Cemetery, Adams Co IL. His wife Lucinda OGLE WADDELL is also buried there. His parents were Obadiah Millia THOMPSON WADDELL. Obahiah was born April 04, 1796 in Monroe County, Illinois and died January 13, 1873. His wife Millia was born October 03, 1799 in South Carolina (Pendleton District)and died July 09, 1886. They are both buried in Woodland Cemetery, Quincy, Adams Co., IL. Obadiah's parents were Jesse Elizabeth GRIFFIN WADDELL (WADDLE).
James Oliver had a brother Joseph A. WADDELL born abt. 1834 in IL. and married Ursilla REAVES on Nov. 16, 1859 in Adams Co IL.
