Reading the name John Baxter in your email I recalled seeing that name in a book i have acquired Called Full Circle. It has reference to John Baxter several times. inparticular That a gentleman called James Francis Graham married Agnes Waddell, third daughter of John Baxter Waddell of Cordevlish,Ballybay,. The marriage is recorded in First Ballybay marriage registry, the witnesses being Sydney Waddell and JB Waddell, The baptism of 2 sons and 2 daughters are recorded. Gerald Francis, Alice Mary Agnes Ross,Jane Ross and Sydney Herbert. also mentioned Emma H Waddell and margaret ross , both sisters of agnes waddell The book is about the Presbyterian community of the Ballybay/Lisnaveane area. We are related to Rev Hope Masterton Waddell,the first presbyterian irish missionary.I dont know if Waddell families are related. I have a margaret ross in our family tree but she is married to Alexander(sandy ) Waddell. Hope this has been of some help to you.
