The author of the book is David Nesbitt, he is the minister of the ballybay church. His email is dnesbitt@eircom.net
Alexander Waddell was married to margaret Ross. the only info I have is he died 13.10.1877 and she died 19.7.1900.
Lisnavane is situated 5 miles west of Ballybay. your spelling is correct. although i have also seen it spelt Lisnavein. There is a picture in the book of a medal of the Lisnavein Rangers presented to Robert Waddell dated 15 June 1780. He was an officer in the volunteer organisation of Landlords and is preserved in the National Museum. Is this your Robert?
