Jasper Newton Waddle was born in Madison Cty., NC in 1867, according to the marriage certificate I have.
He married Mary Lankford of said county in 1878.
They had several children, including Jeder Pritchard, John M. and Rhea.
According to family lore, Jasper Newton died in Bakersfield, CA.
Jasper Newton listed Crocket Waddle as his father.
According to Jasper's 1910 census in Caldwell Cty., NC, both his parents were born in NC.
I was not able to get any further than Crocket Waddle's name, as I am presently unable to access any resources.
I would be grateful for any information or advice.
