Steve,

Your information bears a striking resemblance to waht I found on my G-G-grandfather. He too, was James A. Waddell, and was a Civil War vet. What I have on him is that he was in Co. B, 22nd battalion, Brockenborough Brigade, A.P. Hill Division, Jackson's Corps. He was wounded at Cold Harbor, among other locations. I do not have a rank for him, however. Could this be the same person you have information on? My Waddells were from Prince Edward Co.

Please let me know if this is the same person. Thanks!

Dianne
