Sherry, I highly recommend this book, as it was carefully researched: "The Gibson and Related Families" searched and written by Penny and O. D. Linder, 1991, 28 Olde House Lane, Morgantown, WV 26505. (I don't gain anything by recommending it except more good scholarship on the Web.)
