I believe I have a little info on this family. I find in the 1900 Census 5th Precinct, Cooke Co, TX --

Waddell, Jas C. Jan 1862 38 M 3 yr TX AL AL Farmer
Vina Aug 1872 27 M 3 yr 2/1 TX KY TN
Francis P. Mar 1899 1 TX TX TX

Travis must have been born after the census was taken that year. Vina was the d/o William H. Murray and wife, Martha (Unknown). Vina had a sister named Julia Pearl who married William Uren in Colorado and her mother, Martha Murray was living with them at that time. They later moved to California and are in the 1920 census living in Berkeley. Martha is a widow and works as a registered nurse.
William H. Murray was the s/o Benjamin Murray and Mary Ann (Unknown). I have traced them back to the 1830 census in Woodford Co. KY and in 1840 and 1850 they are in Oldham Co. KY. In 1860 they are in Menard Co. IL, but William has moved to Denton Co. TX by then and is married to Dialpha J. Stover. They have 3 daughters. Dialpha dies after 1869 and William married Martha and they have 5 daughters, Vina is the oldest born in Aug 1872.

I am trying to find the maiden name of Martha, mother of Vina and Julia (AKA Pearl)

Linda
