Hugh Waddell was born in County Down in 1734 and moved to NC in 1753. According to the chart that was given to my Grandmother in which the small part I have researched myself appears to be correct, Hugh Waddell had a sister named Hannah who never came to America and parents were Hugh Waddell, of County Down, and Isabella Brown, of County Antrim. So Hugh and William could possible be cousins.
