David Waddell in Virginia, 1800

Hello and Happy New Year,
I’m looking for information about a brick wall in my line. He is:
David WADDELL, born about 1800 in Virginia, and married 6 Oct. 1825 in Bracken County, Kentucky to Armenia (Miney) PATTERSON, born about 1800 in Kentucky.
Their children were (from the 1850 census, Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky):
William WADDELL, b. about 1827,
John WADDELL, b. about 1827,
James A. WADDELL, b. about 1828
Louisa WADDELL, b. about 1831
George WADDELL, b. about 1834
Alexander WADDELL, b. about 1837 and
Ann Eliza WADDELL, b. about 1840.

Family records say that the children were born variously in Bracken, Campbell, and Kenton County, Kentucky.
James married Ellen HIGGINS ;
Louisa md. William S. GOWERS;
Alexander md. Matilda C. KEY;
Ann Eliza md. Lewis S. GOWERS.

I have no further information about David or Miney except what was found in the census. If any of you know of this family, I’d be delighted to hear of it. I do have some information about the Gowers, but not much more than one generation forward.

Thank you in advance for any who can help me. By the way — since the last child was born in Kenton County, Kentucky, is it possible, or even probable, that some of the lines continue forward into Ohio, since Kenton is right across the Ohio River from Hamilton County, Ohio?

Linda in Utah
