Also you mention a Walter Valentine Waddell who I have as my 3rd cousin 5 times removed. Being the son of Thomas and Mary and grandson of Walter and Ann. The name Valentine comes up 5 times in my tree.
The only info I have on an Issac is one born in 1771 of John Waddell and Ann kettle and a second, Issac Edward born in Popular Grove Boone Illinois in 1851 of Thomas Marden Waddell and Mary Jane Stickney.he could have been named after the elusive brother of Walter?
What genealogy software do you use? If it could be of any use you are welcome to a copy of my tree so that you can study it at your leisure.
Would it be possible to have a copy of Walter Valentine's letter to your grandmother?
